Bullying Prevention and Awarenes Team

Katie is currently a member of the Catering and Events team at a prestigious resort in Lake Tahoe. This position not only provides her with the flexibility and freedom she desires, but also allows her to immerse herself in the great outdoors on a daily basis.

With a Masters in Education from the esteemed Harvard University, Katie possesses a wealth of knowledge in educational program development and intervention. Additionally, she is bilingual, having obtained a bachelors degree in Spanish, as well as a bachelors degree in Psychology.

Throughout her life, Katie has dedicated herself to the art of teaching. Her journey began as a lifeguard at a local pool, where she taught swim lessons. During her college years, she further honed her teaching skills by tutoring fellow students. In fact, she is the proud owner of TahoeTutors, a specialized service that prepares students for the SAT and ACT exams. Furthermore, Katie serves as a coach for cheerleading and softball at a small high school nestled in the heart of Lake Tahoe. It is through teaching others new skills that Katie finds true purpose.

When she is not fulfilling her professional responsibilities, Katie revels in the beauty of the outdoors. Whether it be hiking, skiing, or simply taking her beloved dog for a walk, she finds solace and joy in the wonders of nature.
